nI don’t know why but suddenly I started facingnthis error while I was trying to create new document or edit existing documentnin the SharePoint document library. was using Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010.

nA quick search on the dear friend google givennsome idea I don’t remember what was the source of this post and that’s whynthought to share.

nOpen task manager and take a look at processesntab. Try to find the process with name MSOSYNC.exe

nAnd end the process. Now try to create / openndocuments from SharePoint document library and I hope this error will not benthere anymore.

nNote: I didn’t search for where else this processnis used for, so not sure what effects this can have in your environment butnworked fine for me for above error.
